Dress Code
- 'Motilal Nehru Law College', believes that a dress code helps in creating a sense of uniformity in an institution which is inhabited by people belonging to diverse cultural and economic backgrounds. Hence, 'Motilal Nehru Law College' students are required to adhere to the defined dress code while engaging in academic activities in the campus such as attending lectures or extra-curricular activities.
With reference to the BCI Notification in 07thApril 2016, stating that
So far, uniform dress code in all the law colleges/universities are concerned, it has come to the notice of the council that all the institutes teaching law, it has been found that the standard of dresses by the students of law all over the country is gradually detracting and which does not give impression of proper dress code discipline specially for the professional education. Accordingly, committee recommends that the matter is left to each university/college to decide in respect of dress code that is feasible befitting the profession in this regards. it would be preferable, if the college follow dress code white shirt with trouser (white /black/grey).
